Open PFA Executive Board Positions

Plans for the 2010-2011 school year have begun for the PFA. There are three Executive Board positions open for the next school year. They include Vice President (one year - completing the balance of a two-year term), Treasurer and Executive Vice President, both two-year terms.

The PFA wants to make sure that anyone interested in volunteering for any of these positions has the opportunity to do so. As per the PFA guidelines, a nominating committee has been formed, consisting of the principals of each of the schools. Paid members in good standing are able to run for an Executive Board office after chairing a committee for a period of no less than one year. If you would like to submit your name, or would like more information on the positions, you may contact the Nominating Committee.

The Nominating Committee will be submitting names for the positions above at the monthly PFA Board Meeting on May 19th at 9:30 a.m. at the District Office. Voting will occur for all current PFA members in attendance at the meeting and the new members of the Executive Board will be sworn in.

Advance ticket requests can be returned to school in an envelope marked "Family Science Night". Tickets will be held at the door and distributed the night of the event. Please make checks payable to District 128 PFA. Tickets also available at the door.
