Showers of Updates for April
On Wednesday, April 9, The PFA held their monthly board meeting. The first item on the agenda was to swear in the officers for the 2008-2009 school year. We will be seeing many new faces as well as some veterans (I didn't want to say "old" faces!) leading the way next year:
Co-Presidents-Kelli Cody and Becky Beilfuss
Executive Vice President-Deanne Callahan
Vice-President-Diane Hoge
Secretary-Julie Reidy
Treasurer-Anne Peterson
These officers will be swarn in at the May PFA meeting, when they will take over their positions.

UPCOMING GENERAL MEETING:
Thursday, April 17th from 7-8pm at Independence Dr. Ashley Ochsner will be speaking. He is a certified maximized learning mentor. He comes to us highly reccommended by a teacher in the district and we have received much positive feedback from others who have heard him speak. We hope that you will join us for this powerful evening!
ANNUAL STUDENT-FACULTY BASKETBALL GAME AT IJHS!
Friday, April 18 at 6:30
Please join the students and staff for this always-exciting event. There will be surprising games as well as the ever-popular split-the pot! This is the only fundraiser for IJHS during the year, so they would really appreciate your support.
FUNDRAISING NEWS:
The Fundraising Committee for next year will be Co-Chaired by Jenny Landers and Donna Pawlak. They are always looking for new fundraising ideas as well as for feedback concerning those fundraisers which are already in place. A survey was sent home to all district families, asking for your input in planning for next year. Please fill those out and return them to your child's school as quickly as possible. If you no longer have the survey, feel free to jot down any suggestions on paper and send them to their attention. Thank you
